- Type of medication which can be prescribed by doctors for treating depression.
- Medication
- Some doctors may prescribe drugs to treat some of the physical and mental symptoms of stress.
- Mental Symptoms
- An abnormal state of mind or behaviour that indicates that a person could be suffering from stress. For example frequent crying.
- Paxil
- Trade name for Paroxetine, a prescription medication used for the treatment of anxiety and depression.
- Physical Symptoms
- An abnormal functioning of the body that indicates that a person could be suffering from stress. For example, Physical symptoms of stress can include difficulty breathing or problems sleeping.
- Trigger
- Something that causes a certain symptom to occur in a person who is stressed. For example, missing the train can trigger an anxiety attack in someone who is predisposed to stress.
- Xanax
- Trade name for Alprazolam, a prescription medication used for the treatment of anxiety.
